I just conquered my fear of wearing Fuchsia.

Hi! Today I'm showing you guys a new coordinate.

And I'm sorry for not being able to post for a loooooooong while. T_T

Anyhow, I bought this Shirley Temple fuchsia jacket years ago:

I was never able to wear it 'cause I was scared to. It might not look nice on my

complexion. I know, why did I buy it if I weren't even gonna wear it. 

Well this jacket is a really lucky find. I bought this for just about $5 from a thrift shop.

And as I promised myself, I have to eventually be able wear it.

It actually looks nice with my Bodyline Carousel JSK. ♥

Look at that round face, lol. I'm loving this coordinate, I think

I want to go to a next Lolita gathering/meet wearing these. ♥

And of course, this is me trying to take a decent photo of

me and my baby. (Her name is Khakie.)

It's really difficult to take photos with/of her, she's a ball of energy. D:

So, yeah, I was finally able to conquer my fear of wearing the color fuchsia.

Sweet Lolita makes me experiment on colors and this is one of the reasons why I love the lolita fashion so much. ♥

Cyril Lumboy's Talk and Mini Tea Party ♥

February 22, 2011 -- I went to St. Scholastica's College Manila to model for my friend

Cyril Lumboy. She designs and sews her own Lolita dresses. She's also a

student at UP Diliman and she's taking up Anthropology. I am this proud. XD

So here are some photos of the event:

The organizers were awesome and super fun art students (lol)

and they served brownies, cupcakes and tea! They were so nice and

accommodating. I couldn't be thankful enough 'cause they made sure to make the event 

extra special for Cy and for us models.

I love Cy's new dress! She's wearing a hoop skirt underneath, thus, making
it look better than wearing layers of petticoat. (from my perspective. 'cause my
petticoats are lame lol)

Emerald! The surprise Lolita.  ♥

Emerald is one of the art students, one of the models didn't make it so

Cy announced that anyone can wear the Kuro-Lolita dress, Emerald was

chosen by the majority. ♥

When the event was close to ending, the organizers gave us models these cute
dessert towels.

The event turned out spectacular, everybody was so nice! I made lots of new friends.

We can't wait to see each other again and have another gathering. I miss them all

so much already! I love meeting new people and having new friends so this day was really

epic for me. :)

Blue and Pink Candy Coordinate!

Hello~! ♥

I missed wearing this pink wig! This is my first wig ever! ♥

So today I thought of taking pictures of me wearing

the blue skirt my Twinnie sold to me.

I'll only post one from about 10 shots I took using

self-timer 'cause I was practically using the same pose in all

of them and this one had the best lighting. XD

I am wearing no shoes. ; w ;

I seriously don't have any shoes to wear with this coordinate. This is why

I am gonna buy blue tea party shoes as soon as I can!

Rilakkuma + New Bodyline Skirt ♥

Most of the time, Mark (boyfriend) and I spend the weekends strolling the mall. When we went to Watson's to buy some meds, I roamed around and I saw this small section full of Rilakkuma stuff.

I was really surprised 'cause it's just. not. normal. （≧∇≦）;; 

They had vanity bags, shower caps, umbrellas and blankets.

I asked boyfie to buy me a Rilakkuma blanket. I was hoping for it to be, you 

know, a blanket that could cover my whole body when I sleep. (I didn't really

check the measurements lol);;

Instead:

hahaha! Still cute, tho. XD;

Also, I was able to buy a bodyline skirt from my friend/twin, Sammy. 

.

I love this print so much! Bodyline stopped producing skirts/dresses using this

print. I'd love to wear this with my pink blouse and pink wig. ♥ ♥ ♥

And I bet the skirt would look awesome with these:

Self-made Ribbon Jumper Skirt ♥

It's Crafty Camila Day hihihi. I started sewing yesterday morning 'til midnight. I really wanted to finish a lolita dress or jumper skirt so I can wear it for a January 8 gathering. 

I slept for atleast 4 hours and finished the jumper skirt today.

Ribbon Dress! ♥

I made the skirt part really wide so it would look super fluffly when used with really thick petticoats. I used a half-body mannequin to hang the dress, making it look less wide on camera than it should be.

This is the second time I'm able to make a jumper skirt.
The first one was back when my best friend and I still had an online shop
selling gothic and lolita items. I only followed whichever tutorial I can find useful
on youtube, egl (LJ), anywhere else. Thank you interwebs! XD

The ribbon/tie for the waist are lilac on the opposite side, also I added shirring 

so I don't have to sew a zipper on the dress. I don't like sewing on zippers. XD;

And as you can see, there's still so much space for a petticoat to make the

dress look super bell-shaped. I need a new petticoat~!

 

Oh, what exhausting yet fulfilling days, haha! I'm tired but I'm not cranky at all.

 I'm really really happy with how the dress turned out. ♥ ♥

The girl I twinned with is Xandra. She's one of the people who

inspired me into becoming a Lolita. I totally spazzed when I first

saw her in a convention wearing her BtSSB ensemble. I wasn't able to

take a photo of her then, though. I'm so happy that she's now one

of my closest friends~ ♪

I've been searching the web for other wigs (the one I'm wearing is from
CosplayWig on ebay) and this one website definitely got my eye on their gorgeous wigs.

I love these wigs and the fact that Kammie's behind them pretty things is a +++++! lol 

I haven't been an active Lolita this year but I'll make sure 2011 will finally 

be the year I fill my wardrobe with everything a lolita needs! ♥
